How can I deal with my complex?

I'm afraid of rejection. Of course, everyone is but I fear how the things will be afterwards. I usually like girls that I can communicate with and these girls are the ones that I meet in school or the girls that we are really close. When I like a girl I create friendly bonds, so they can't see me as a guy, but as a friend. I cannot express my feelings to them because I fear the way that I'll have to look at them after the rejection or even if she likes me too I don't know how I should act around them when in class.
