How was this possible? How did I get smarter?

Well recently (2, 3 yrs) i've been able to understand, remember and even think about more complex ideas. My grades went from F's to straight A's. I got on the National Honor Society, My current HS gpa is a 3.8 out of 4. But how was this possible? where did this sudden change came from?
