Car gear is getting stuck? Honda Prelude 92?

Whenever the problem starts check to see if the brake lights are working...if they are not the brake light switch is bad...THIS MAY REQUIRE TWO PEOPLE TO CHECK THE LIGHTS...ONE TO STEP ON THE BRAKES AND ONE TO CHECK THE LIGHTS...good luck
