Laptop charging port problem?

Its been a couple months now that I have been having problems with my charging port. In order to get my laptop charging I have to twist the ac adapter around while pushing it in quite hard. Sometimes, even when I would get ac adapter into the right position, it my computer would stop charging and I would have to twist and push the ac adapter again. The same thing would happen with my usb port. It would work and then stop working if it was in the wrong position. I would have to constantly wiggle the usb to get my notebook fan to work. They are both on the right side of my laptop. Anyone know what I should do?
